It was a rainy day Saturday in Jacksonville, FL but there were still lovely moments to capture with newborn baby girl Savannah. This precious little girl was only 7 days old when photographed. Taking pictures of a newborn gave my ovaries a little tug… I’ll admit it
Here are some early sneak pics.

A big thank you to Ruth of Roving Girl Photography, who allowed me to join her for this newborn shoot in Atlantic Beach, Florida. It’s great to have an amazing network of photographers who are so receptive to collaboration.
If you’re interested in my photography for newborns, maternity, weddings or portraits, please let me know!
Valerie is a vibrant young lady…. it was really fun photographing her with her mom and mom’s friends… I still can’t believe she’s 12!
Here’s the pretty Latoya smiling downtown at Jacksonville… right before AT&T asked us to get off of their property
It was a beautifully shaded area… but no worries, we were off to the next spot!
So in a little bit, I’m heading down to Five Points to meet up with some new photographers who doing a project called Broken Places. According to Jaxscene, this project is about,
“heading a photography and art project that challenges several photographers to search out and photograph Jacksonville’s abandoned, lost, rare, eerie, broken, or drab places and things. Each can add their own touch and post processing Styles.
This project is about discovery. When looking for the unknown nooks we will be stumbling upon lots of history and some of the weirdest anomalies in Jacksonville.”
Later tonight, I’m meeting up with the Jax Field Trip shoot in San Marco.
And tomorrow… more photography. I love it! <3
The photos are now live from the breast cancer walk that was in Jacksonville Beach on Saturday, October 10, 2009. Ruth’s hosting the pictures on her gallery. You can purchase the imagery for cost.
